My Personal Interests
Web Development
Over the past few years, I've found that building web apps for various uses is an enjoyable side project...a shift from sometimes the more challenging/intensive aspects of data science and software engineering that constitutes my main work. It offers a different angle of programming that I personally think those with/without CS backgrounds can easily get into...including my parents. I would highly recommend The Web Developer Bootcamp 2020 offered in Udemy.com, which ultimately guided me to build my personal website.
Music
Music is one of my favorite hobbies, from playing piano and guitar, writing music, reading about musicians like Elton John, Joni Mitchell, and Herbie Hancock, and most recently I've started a vinyl record collection (yeah I know...). I mainly find myself playing jazz and popular music, but ultimately I just play whatever song's been stuck in my head. I'm always open to exploring other genres as well.
